Hey there friends! I have a confession to tell you all…. I love to clean! So today I am sharing my favorite go to cleaning products and how I use them. These products are all natural and the scents are heavenly! Furthermore, they work harder than any products I have used with chemicals. And even if cleaning isn’t a good time for you, these products get the job done so much faster and better that I may convert you to a clean-aholic like myself! Well, maybe not, but it’s worth a try!
Cleaning Products backstory:
First, let me start off by saying, I think I have tried every product on the market. I am a been-there-done-that kind of girl! I have always been on the lookout for something that actually did what it was supposed to do! That slick marketing would suck me in every time I go to the grocery store! I would be all excited to try something new only to discover it didn’t work like it was supposed to. Such a waste!
Today I am sharing with you my favorite cleaning products that do work! These are all under my kitchen sink and I love them! I am still trying out some other new ones and when I really feel confident in telling you about them I will. But all these products I am sharing today I have used for over a year or longer and they are what I reach for multiple times a day.
Little side note here: If only you all could see my children as I sat each one of these products on the kitchen counter. They had a look of panic in their eyes thinking that I was about to go on a rampage of cleaning and they would have to help somehow. (Summertime relaxation going on over here with the little folks!)
Okay, let’s get started. These are all the cleaning products I use in the kitchen on a daily basis. I use them in other parts of the house too, like the bathrooms, but I will rap that up in another post. So much to talk about here! I am getting excited just thinking about this, I am cracking myself up! (Dork alert!!)

Let me start off by saying, all my cleaning products I order online on a monthly basis from Grove Collaborative. I have had the membership for almost two years now and love it. They offer all natural products from cleaning products to baby needs and even supplements and vitamins. And their prices can’t be topped either! Most products are between 20-35 % off retail. The best prices I have found anywhere for the same products I would be buying anyway. And when you put in your first order it has some great free products to try! This brush above is one of them that I got in mine. I have been using it ever since. They also have a 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with a product you try. Love that!
How it works
Simply put, I get an email every month before my shipment date and I enter the products that I need. It remembers what I have ordered before and suggests new products to try. If I don’t need anything on any given month, then I just tell them to skip it this month. More importantly, as I have used up products with chemicals in them, I have tried new all natural ones. And I must confess, I have never gone back to the chemical cleaning products.
Last year I upgraded to have a VIP membership so my order ships for free! Always nice! I tried out Grove Collaborative just to get a better price on one product and ended up trying more and more and now I have switched over to them exclusively for all my cleaning products.
Favorite Cleaning Products
First off, these two Caldrea products sit on my sink at all times. Let me tell you, they smell delicious! These are the dish soap and hand soap. They cut grease well and they aren’t harsh on my hands. I am constantly washing dishes, like every other mother, so I really wanted something gentle on my hands but that would do the job. I love that they are safe for my 6 year old to help with the dishes and to wash up little sticky fingers after meals. A bonus is they are also pretty concentrated so they last forever!
For Summer I am loving the Sea Salt Neroli scent. They smell like summer in a bottle. I also use their countertop spray in the same fragrance and my kitchen smells so good after a quick wipe down. I forgot to get that bottle in the picture. And if they would make this scent in a candle I would be all over that! Another scent I like too is the Tangelo Palm Frond. It has a orange citrus scent that I adore! I found it perfect for Fall. Plus the cute marketing of the bottles makes them pretty to sit out in full display.
Next up is wonderful Mrs. Meyers. Oh, how I love everything Mrs. Meyers makes. Every season it seems she comes out with new scents to try and they always blow me away. My favorite cleaner has to be the Multi-surface cleaner concentrate . It works so well it is hard to believe it is all natural! I was so surprised the first time I cleaned my floors with it. All the grime and grease and apple juice splatters were gone. It is one hard working cleaner! Also, this bottle has lasted me f-o-r-e-v-e-r! A little goes a long way!
Side note here: I have been known to give a sample of this cleaner to friends who want to try it after they see my floors. They always come back telling me how well it worked.
How I use it:
I pour a capful into a bucket with hot water and mop away. Even dried on food on the floor, (hey, I have kids, it happens!) are no match for this cleaner. Most importantly, there is no build up of cleaner on my floors. Plus, my house smells sooooo good. Grove has this product at 20% off retail!
The multi surface cleaner is what I use it to clean my white kitchen cabinets. It is the best all around cleaner! It’s gentle enough on my cabinets but tough on the grease that accumulates on the handles and around the bottoms of my cabinets. Most noteworthy though, if ever I am in doubt on what to use to clean something I pull out this cleaner and it will get the job done.
In all my bathrooms I use her hand soap. A little goes a long way. My two little ones have eczema so I always have to be careful what types of products I use around them. Perfumes and chemicals always end up breaking them out. We have never had a problem with these hand soaps. Again, Grove has the hand soap at 27% off retail! See, such good deals!
Another great all natural product that I can’t live without is Method products. I started off by wanting a natural wood cleaner that wouldn’t contain any alcohol to dry out our teak table outside. I tried this one and was hooked! The Daily Wood Cleaner smells fresh and I can’t believe how clean it can get my table. It takes off all the pollen and doesn’t leave a greasy film on my table. Just a great wood cleaner.
I then tried the Antibacterial spray and I loved the lavender scent it had. I use it to clean the inside of my frig and it works wonders! It’s also great for when I am cooking chicken and some of the raw meat comes in contact with my counter. I just whip this bottle out and no more worries. And don’t even get me started on flu season. This bottle and me are best friends! I am spraying it on every door knob and bathroom sink in the house! At 27% off retail this one is a must try!
Finally, the glass cleaner is the newest Method product I have been trying out. I love how it doesn’t leave streaks on my windows and it cleans off the hundreds of tiny fingerprints that are on every window in the house! Also, my two little helpers love to spray it and wipe with an e-cloth for hours and their delicate skin isn’t irritated is a bonus. Which I might add is their favorite cleaning chore to do!
Cleaning Product Essentials
Lastly, let’s talk about the must-have cleaning essentials. I was first introduced to the scrub brush with my initial order from Grove. It is tough enough to clean pots and pans but not so tough I can’t use it on glasses. I like that it can completely dry out between uses so there is no risk of bacteria growing on it. I just add some dish soap to it and get-to-scrubbing! LOL! (I am sure right about now you’re thinking I must be a joy to live with! ) Well, I am! I keep it clean, baby!
Next, is cellulose sponges. These babies are awesome! They are not your smelly stinky sponges that have to be tossed after a week. They have one side that has a scrubby texture and the other side soft. I like that they don’t hold as much water as a typical sponge and get that strange smell. They seem to take a lot of abuse in the cleaning department too. I use these to wipe down my counters after messy spills that seem to happen on a daily basis.
If I have something that needs a good scrubbing though, I will reach for my Walnut scouring pads. They work great on baked on food that seems impossible to scrub off. Not only do they last a long time, they are gentle enough not to scratch my pots and pans but tough enough to get it shiny as new again.
Also, have you been using e-cloths? These washable soft towels are essential! Just use them as you would a paper towel and pop them in the laundry. They come out of the dryer ready to use again. I use them to clean my granite countertops to a sparkling shine or on my stainless steel to rid the fingerprints. Also, most importantly, when my little helpers want to help clean, I hand them each a damp e-cloth and let them clean away
As you can see, I love talking about cleaning products. Am I normal? I say yes! On the other hand, my husband thinks I’m nuts because I like to clean this much, but he has even said he couldn’t believe how well they all work!
If you haven’t heard of Grove Collaborative, go take a peek. They offer free shipping on your first order and you can cancel anytime.
In conclusion, even if cleaning isn’t your thing, these kitchen cleaning products work! And who doesn’t like a product that does what it says it’s supposed to do?
Also, I would love to hear of any others that work great in your house. I am always on the lookout for something new! Leave me a message and let’s chat! In the meantime , I’ll be cooking and cleaning up messes in my kitchen!
